It’s nearly 3am but I’ve only been home from work for about 2 and a half hours. After getting called in on my day off I’ve been at the store I work at every night for the last 7 days. I’m tired as balls and completely tapped out on patience, compassion, and fucks to give. Instead of going to bed like I should have I decided to stay up making memes to commemorate a miserable week of customer service. Specifically I’ve been making Retail Robin memes. Memes that I’m going to share with you now. You’re welcome.
I love your retail posts,it’s like therapy.
Last night I worked the closing shift and closed out my department really good ( Levi’s Jeans) . I refolded and sized almost everything. Today, i also had the opening shift and I walk in content knowing i don’t have much to do. One second, I’m alone. The next, I’m swarmed. With 20 something tourists. Who don’t speak of lick of English. They stayed for hours as I almost cried as almost my entire floor was unfolded.

I feel yeah. There’s nothing worst than walking away for 10min and coming back to see all your work undone. We also get this little old french lady who always comes in to use the bathroom. You spend a good 5min trying to explain she can’t take her bags inside before you just give up.

These are so freaking awesome. I haven’t had all those things happen (I’m too lazy to work 7 days in a week) but most of those things are pissing me off currently. I can’t believe you made all these up.

I didn’t make them up. They’re based on a true story.

It’s amazing how bad people can treat employees. I should know though. I’ve been experiencing it for the last 13 years. I just keeps getting bitter!

Awesome stuff. Your passion for serving customers shines through. It makes me realise how much I’m missing out on, through working in a call centre. The satisfaction you obviously get from face to face service almost exceeds the risk of receiving the inevitable assault charge.
